Marche Region, one of the twenty regional administrations of Italy, is very active at European Project level as important instrument for the local development. In particular the Euroepan Policy Unit plays an important role to bring Marche Region closer to Europe.

Sviluppo Marche S.p.A. is the Marche Regional Development Agency. It plays an important role in the economic development of Marche Region, supporting the planning guidelines provided by the regional administration, in attempts to define local, national and international projects for sustainable development.

Emilia-Romagna Valorizzazione Economica Territorio S.p.A. is the company acting as Development Agency of Emilia Romagna Region with the objective of promoting a sustainable economy, in line with regional planning and programming and the system of local authorities.

MRDPW is the national authority, which develops the Regional Development, Cross-Border Cooperation, and other Operational Programmes.

The Regional Council of Southwest Finland is one of Finland's nineteen regional councils. The Finnish Regional Councils are joint municipal authorities which function in accordance with the principles of municipal selfgovernment, operating as the authorities on regional development as well as the region's planning and lobbying organizations.

The Regional Council of Itä-Uusimaa is a regional development authority of Finland. The ten municipalities of Itä-Uusimaa constitute a growing region of almost 100.000 inhabitants. The main tasks of the Regional Council are regional planning, regional development and interest promotion.

Klaipeda RDA is the Regional Development Agency of Klaipeda. Hiiumaa County Government is the State institution in the region. The main task for the County Government, set up by the National Law, is to safeguard the sustainable development of the region. County Government collaborates closely with all five municipalities in Hiiumaa. All decisions concerning State investments to the region, also transportation issues etc. are taken in consensus with Governor and Association of Local Municipalities.

The Regional Council of Lorraine, in the framework of the new French decentralisation law, has the leadership on the economic development of its territory. The Direction of Innovation and Technology Transfer Department is in charge of implementing the regional policies.

Arco Latino is an association of Spanish and Italian provinces and French departments from the Western Mediterranean. Arco Latino is a space for cooperation between territorial communities in which, integrated actions in different strategic spheres, can be carried out to strengthen economic and social cohesion in order to correct imbalances between northern and southern Europe.

Cambridgeshire County Council is the arm of local government responsible for the county of Cambridgeshire. Within the council, the Innovation and Partnerships team works to secure external funding for new partnerships that add value to the council's core activities.
